Goplus 6ft White Artificial Spruce Tree

Holiday Decor · Goplus · Affiliate

A white Christmas tree that actually looks full and stays standing — and with 1,000 branch tips, there's plenty of real estate for whatever your household decides to hang on it (including, in my case, a cat who considers the lower branches her personal hammock).

Extended Observations

A white Christmas tree that actually looks full and stays standing — and with 1,000 branch tips, there's plenty of real estate for whatever your household decides to hang on it (including, in my case, a cat who considers the lower branches her personal hammock).

I'll be honest: I came to the white Christmas tree trend a little late. For years I assumed it was a cold, minimalist choice — something for households without cats who knock ornaments off and dogs who drink the tree water. But the Goplus 6ft White Artificial Spruce changed my mind, mostly because it's generous enough in its fullness that even after my tabby, Marzipan, had her way with the bottom third, it still looked intentional.

The 1,000 branch tips are the real selling point here. This is not a sparse, sad skeleton of a tree that needs to be turned toward the wall. It fills out properly — wide at the base, tapering naturally toward the top — and the white finish has a matte, snowy quality rather than the shiny plastic look that can make artificial trees feel like a prop from a mall display. Fluffing the branches takes a bit of patience on first assembly, but that's true of any hinged tree worth owning.

Assembly is genuinely easy. The three-section hinged design means the branches fold out rather than needing to be individually inserted, and the metal stand is stable enough that it held its ground even when Marzipan decided the base was a scratching post. I appreciated that the stand has a relatively low profile — it doesn't eat up much floor space and sits flat without wobbling.

Because it's unlit, you have full control over your lighting situation, which I actually prefer. Pre-lit trees always seem to have at least one dead strand by year three, and then you're either living with a dark patch or rewiring the whole thing. Here, you wrap what you want, where you want it, and if a strand goes out it's a five-minute fix. For a household with cats, this also means you can tuck cords more deliberately and avoid the inevitable chew-and-chaos scenario.

A couple of minor caveats: the branches do need a solid fluffing session before the tree looks its best, which takes longer than the box implies. And while the white finish photographs beautifully, in certain lighting it can read slightly grey rather than crisp white — not a dealbreaker, but worth noting if you're decorating a very warm-toned room. Overall, though, this is a well-priced, full-looking tree that earns its place in the living room — and, apparently, in the daily patrol route of at least one opinionated tabby.

Our Verdict

A white Christmas tree that actually looks full and stays standing — and with 1,000 branch tips, there's plenty of real estate for whatever your household decides to hang on it (including, in my case, a cat who considers the lower branches her personal hammock).
